The Launceston Chess Club is a friendly and welcoming community of chess players based in Launceston, Tasmania. Our club brings together people of all ages and skill levels who share a passion for the game of chess. Whether you are a complete beginner learning the basics or an experienced tournament player, you’ll find a supportive and enjoyable environment at our club.
We meet weekly to play over-the-board chess, learn from one another, and build a strong local chess community. Our goal is simple: to promote the enjoyment of chess while helping players improve their skills and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
